Frank D'Ambrosio
Vocalist and Musician
Frank D'Ambrosio is a singer and musician who has been entertaining gratified audiences for almost 40 years. His vast repertoire includes the Great American Songbook, Broadway and Hollywood classics, oldies and favorites from Sinatra, Elvis, Nat "King" Cole and much more! A Yonkers, NY native, he has performed with many top musical groups throughout the New York Tri-State area, including The Starlight Orchestra, The Barry Herman Orchestra, The Stolen Moments Orchestra, The Bob Thosen Orchestra and Alive 'N Kicking.
Frank attributes his love of music to his parents, Frank and Rose, who were both avid music enthusiasts. They were huge “big band” fans and he grew up listening to the sounds of Glenn Miller, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James and Benny Goodman. He vividly remembers that great music could always be heard playing on his dad’s 8-track tape player in their family candy store.
Frank taught himself to play the guitar as a young boy and incorporates it into his performances, along with backing tracks, to create a beautiful blend of music that spans across many decades. His choice of songs and smooth-as-silk voice have brought him much success. Through the years, he has performed at countless restaurants, parties, dinners and other private and corporate events.
In 2011, he began performing for seniors while his mom was spending time in a rehabilitation unit. Since then, he has performed over 2,400 live shows at senior venues, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes and senior centers. He is typically regarded as a “favorite” and is always in high demand, especially for holidays and special events.
Frank currently lives in Sarasota, FL, with his wife and manager, Michele. He is available for public and private events, restaurants, and music programs at senior centers.
